good news i will spent next 3 months in patras so
a lot of sailling and action promised......
the weather here in athens is changing a lot so no good action BUT
my friend manolis got a new camera and started shooting so

FORECAST IS OFF

all eyes are on cabo verde right now ,where the pwa world cup is underway
unfortunately with a very poor forecast.
2 times they tried to start, but the conditions where very light
although pics are still great more
not much going on here in greece after a full power weekend in patra with 4,5,
forecast is shit for whole week
i sailed one new spot mayrh myti in achaia
was preety good strong wind sideshore and a nice flat section in the inside
perfect for training konos

next big forecast starting on monday .....

CRETE REPORT

well 7 out of 10 days sailling is good score , with 2 days with waves and 5 days freestyle when

nowhere else in greece blowing it gets even better .

unfortunately i haven' got my camera yet so fotos only from markus a german toyrist who came 2 days in the beach looking to kite..... anyway

big thnx to my friend manolis http://www.gre77.blogspot.com/ and his

girlfriend evina for the hospitality and the great food :).

my first day in the island i sailed falasarna beach

a very famous break for crete which provided

conditions to stand up for its reputation :

1.5-2 meter waves side off with clean parts 3-4 turns perfect, but no fotos (as always when it's good everyone is sailing and nobody taking pics )

then i had freestyle sessions in falasarna in another spot

with different wind direction and ellafonhsi

which is a very beautiful beach in south crete but also no fotos

and the 2nd wave day was in paleochora with the following action

i travel to west crete from the 20th and scored some nice quality waves in falasarna and

now it's freestyle time

among a bunch of sails i tried last year i found maui sails to be the best for freestyle

and closer to my style of sailing.

being one of the few companies that have a sail exclusivly for freestyle it was easy

to see the benefits, early planiing stable power and really light in hands.

so here is a foto from my first days of sailing after injury when

i visited my friend manolis vardakis

in elafonisi , west crete, a true paradise .....

new booms arrived

got my new booms from al 360.

for this year there is monochoque model and it feels great

stiffer thinner and perfect grip

also got the new alu extensions

AGAIN AND AGAIN AND AGAIN ....

so after really long time i'm back , it seems like there is no end

to me getting injured all the time so in february the 10th during a killer

session by all means i broke my foot in a backloop try

this is my foot after 4 weeks in bed

when i had really a bad mood

ayway after i was able to walk again statred physio etc

and had some time to pass some exams in university

now i' back and sailing for almost 2 months and it'been very creative ....

new year new begining i have 2 new sponsors new booms from al360

and blu caffe ,i also will not continue with NORTH SAILS so new sails sponsor soon and

maybe also board so everything is changing ...
