i have to give to kelly slater one of the bigest sportsman in the planet
having won 10 times the world title in surfing something REALLY
difficult, he didn't show upfor his first heat  in the current  4th contest
 of the season in jeffreys bay south africa and here is the reasoon

 the guy was in fidji surfing this

huge respect............

ps he ended up in south africa IN TIME for his 2nd round heat 

so he is not of the contest  and maybe even win it . 

PURE R N' D

looking to the first day pictures of pwa tenerife  i noticed

that thomas traversa was using the pure instead of his 

signatute sail IQ.

if this was really a pure and not a custom sail in the colors of

pure which would make more sence, it  maybe means 

that gaastra wants to reverse the politics that wanted the 

iq last year to be the one sail for wave and freestyle 

and make the pure a bit more wave sail 

anyway thomas seems in the pic not having any problems 

ripping the waves in any sail
